Elevated Arc is a small business run by me, Danika. I help small businesses in DC, Maryland, and Virginia with websites, business email, automations, and business paperwork. This page explains, in plain language, what information I collect, why, and what I do with it. If anything is unclear, email me at hello@elevatedarc.ai.
The short version
- I collect only what I need to answer you and do your work.
- Your information is used only for your project. It is never sold.
- I use paid business AI tools set so they don't learn from what I send, and I don't put client information into everyday AI chat apps. Details are in AI tools below.
- I'll delete your project files on request after the work is done.
What I collect
- When you contact me: your name, email address, and whatever you write in the contact form or an email.
- When we work together: the project information I need to do the job. Depending on the service, that can include your business name, address, state ID numbers, EIN, owner names, logins you authorize me to use, your logo, photos, and website text.
- Billing details: invoices and payment records. Card and bank details are entered with the payment processor, not stored by me.
- Basic site data: like most websites, my hosting provider may record basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.
How I use it
- To reply to you and schedule calls.
- To plan, do, and deliver the work you hired me for.
- To send invoices, reminders, and updates about your project or subscription.
- To keep records I'm required to keep, like tax and payment records.
I don't send marketing emails unless you've asked to hear from me, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
AI tools
For client work, I use the OpenAI, Anthropic, and xAI business APIs (paid business connections, not the free chat apps) under my company's accounts. They have model training turned off, so they don't learn from what I send. They may keep it for up to 30 days to check for misuse, or longer if the law requires, and then delete it. I don't put client information into consumer AI apps. Everything I deliver is reviewed, tested, and finished by me. I never enter SSNs, EINs, bank details, or passwords into AI tools. I use your customer lists with AI tools only if a task requires it and you agree.
Who I share it with
Your information is never sold, and it is shared only with the services needed to do your work, like state filing systems and payment processors. Even then, I share only what each task needs. The kinds of services I use are:
- Website hosting to run this site and client sites.
- Email and productivity tools (Microsoft 365) to communicate and store project files.
- A payment processor to handle payments securely.
- Government and state filing systems when you've asked me to file something for you.
- AI services (the OpenAI, Anthropic, and xAI business APIs, which are paid business connections, not the free chat apps) for client work, as described in the AI tools section above.
- Formspree to receive messages sent through the forms on this site.
- Calls are set up by email for now, so no booking service is used.
- Wave to send invoices and keep payment records.
- DocuSeal for e-signatures on agreements and scopes.
I may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
This site keeps things minimal. It doesn't use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers. If I add simple visitor analytics later, I'll choose a privacy-friendly option and update this page.
This site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page opens. Google's privacy policy covers that data.
Keeping your information safe
Each client's files are kept separate. Passwords are kept only in a secure password manager, never in email or text. I never turn off your two-factor login. No system is perfect, but I take reasonable steps to protect what you share with me.
How long I keep it
I keep project files while we're working together and for a reasonable time after, so I can help with fixes or questions. I will delete your project files on request after the work is complete. Some records, like invoices and payment records, I need to keep for tax and legal reasons.
Your choices
You can ask me to see, correct, or delete the information I have about you. Just email hello@elevatedarc.ai and I'll reply within one day, weekends included.
Children
My services are for businesses. I don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent me information, let me know and I'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I'll update this page and the effective date above. For big changes, I'll let current clients know by email.
